Employee referral - Database Developer | 3 - 5 years |SQL Server 2000/2005 and T-SQL in both OLAP and OLTP environments

Designation: Database Developer

Total Experience: 3 Yrs - 5 Yrs


Job Description:


Research technical problems and define solutions within the context of the Tempo 4 application, provide task estimates and risk assessment.


Create and modify database schema, T-SQL scripts, stored procedures and other database objects as well as DTS and SSIS packages in order to meet customer requirements.

Set up, maintenance and support jobs in SQL Agent;

Review the work of peer developers

Perform performance analysis using query analyzer and SQL Profiles

Adhere to best practices and coding standards and help to improve them over time • Create and update documentation and project management artifacts in support of research and coding activities.

Work fluidly with an international team consisting of other talented developers, product managers, project managers, and architects.

While the focus of this position is maintaining Tempo 4 Product line, the successful candidate must be able to work on a wide variety of projects across our product line. Qualifications

Must have experience with SQL Server 2000/2005 and T-SQL in both OLAP and OLTP environments

Must have strong working knowledge of Management Studio, VSS, and or Subversion;

Must have experience working with high concurrency web applications

Experience with C#/.NET framework preferred;

Experience with Analysis Services and or Reporting Services a plus

Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing


Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent education and a minimum of 3 years of experience in professional database development in a Microsoft environment.

Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003 and IIS
