A leading Investment Bank at Kuwait is in need of an IT resource at Officer level to support an online trading brokerage platform
The candidate is required to be capable of supporting Seven (7) Physical Windows 2003 Servers Running Oracle databases, IBM Web-sphere and Wide Area Network Connections to Kuwait Stock Exchange, the Mubasher (application) Data center and beyond for the MENA region, all of which are dedicated to the Mubasher platform.
This requires tested Windows Server & Oracle DB support skills and their interconnectivity from a back office perspective such as load balancing, performance & service monitoring, backup & recovery, service optimization, hot fix & patch application etc.
Preferably certified MCSE &/or CCNA with sufficient work experience as these provide essential Windows Server & Network Knowledge.
Minimum requirements:
A) Oracle Database Experience ( Any Version )
B) Light VB Development experience
C) Past experience of handling projects independently
D) Good understanding of Networks & Windows Servers Technologies in a support role
Preferred if the candidate has independently managed such technologies
E) Candidate will be trained by the Mubasher (application) Development Team
Brokerage Platform experience is not essential but good to have
F) Code testing and enhanced understanding of the language
