Chennai and Pune.
Job description
To provide 2nd level Storage Management services and product support
for various IBM Total Storage Solutions across various accounts. Duties
include;
# Maintain and Manage various storage solutions.
# Provide 2nd level technical support, guidance and direction for
products supported.
# Analyse and resolve escalated problems.
# Ensure integrity of supported environment.
2+ Years to 6+ Years of experience
# Has applied knowledge in the Administration of HP/ Solaris / AIX Unix
systems in a large commercial environments
# Has applied knowledge of SAN, and various EMC products - namely
Clarion, Symmetrix,DMX,HP EVA Storage, HP XP Storage,IBM
SAN,Legato,Netapp, Netbackup,TSM(Tivoli Storage Manager),Backup
Exac,Celera,Centerra.
EMC Storage:
DMX>> McData Fibre Channel Switches, Brocade Swiitches, Cisco Switches.
Clariion >> CX series
TSM(Tivoli storage Manager):
TSM ver 5.x/6.x
DRM(Disaster Recovery Manager) using TSM
Veritas Netbackup:
Netbackup 5.x/6.x version
No Veritas Volume Manager(It is totally different skill used with
solaris/unix )
IBM SAN:
Knowledge of DS Series 3k, 4k or 8k is must. If not found experience in DS
series don't source it.
# Has applied knowledge in the administration of windows NT/2000 and
Linux systems
# Technical Skills
# Has exposure to McData Fibre Channel Switches, Brocade Swiitches,
Cisco Switches.
# Has worked on Navisphere Manager, EMC Symmetrix CLI ( Solutions
Enabler ), EMC Control Centre ( ECC ).
# Is proficient with viewing Symmetrix configuration data using
Solutions Enabler and ECC.
