NOTIFICATION

A Walk-In-Interview for Selection of suitable candidates to the

posts of Experienced Programmers (Programmers with Two years

experience and Programmers with One year experience) on contract basis

and trainee programmers on contract basis for a period of one year in the

University Computer Centre, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram

is scheduled to be held on 15.01.2008, Tuesday.

The interview for the post of Experienced Programmers on

contract basis will be held at 10.00 A.M and that of trainee programmers

on contract basis at 1.00 P.M in the Pro-Vice-Chancellor’s Chamber.

A. Qualifications for the post of Programmers with 2 years/1 year

experience on Contract Basis.

I.

B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science and Engineering with a minimum

of 70% marks in aggregate.

OR

MCA with not less than75% marks in aggregate for both graduation and

Post Graduation.

OR

M.Sc (Computer Science) after completing B.Sc (Computer Science) with

a minimum of 75% marks for both Graduation and Post Graduation.

II. Candidates with consistently good academic track record with not

less than 75% marks in all previous courses will be preferred.

B. Skill sets needed

Applicants should be constraint with using all the tools mentioned in

at least one of the following sets.

(1). Windows 2003 Server, Oracle 8i/above,VB/VB.Net

(2). Windows 2003 Server, VB/VB.Net, MS-SQL 2000

(3). Windows 2003 Server, ASP, MS-SQL 2000

(4). Linux, Postgre, SQL, PHP, VB

Remuneration

a). Programmers with a minimum of two years experience – Rs.15,000/-

per month (consolidated).

b). Programmers with a minimum of One year experience – Rs.12,000/-

per month (consolidated).

TRAINEE PROGRAMMERS

A). Qualifications:

Same as that of Programmers except that M.Sc/MCA holders with a

minimum of 65% marks will be considered. Also candidates who

passed B.Sc (Computer Science)/BCA with a minimum of 65% marks

in aggregate after attending a regular full time course of a University

will be considered.

B). Skill sets needed

Same as that of Programmers

Remuneration

Consolidated pay of Rs.4000/- per month.

Age : Not more than 35 years as on 01.01.2008
