Position: System Administrator – IT.
Location: Hyderabad, India.
Duration: Fulltime.

SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible on the day-to-day basis delivery of the technical services pertaining to servers, network, desktops and laptops for maximum service availability. Remote management of Data center & employees settled at different geographies needs to be provided end to end solution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Good understanding of any Linux Platform
•Responsible for managing CentOS based Linux Server along with Windows 2k3/2k8 Servers.
•Monitoring services through the use of monitoring tools like WhatsUpGold etc.
•Responsible for AD, ADC, DNS, DHCP
•Installation and configuration of new technologies like Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2007, Microsoft Office SharePoint Services, ISA, WSUS, MS Virtualization.
•Installation and configuration of x64/x86 servers & user’s system in local and remote location
•Responsible for storage management & timely backups of Exchange, Active Directory, SQL, AX, SharePoint etc.
•Installation & Configuring of test & production servers for the development team across India & US
•Responsible for escalation management directly with the vendors like Dell/IBM in US for any hardware issues
•Collating the shift handover documentation to ensure all parties have visibility of incidents closed and ongoing, service impacts, outstanding requests and scheduled changes
•Understanding of Microsoft CRM, Microsoft Dynamics AX would be preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

•Three to four years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment
•Bachelor’s degree in a technical stream with certifications like CCNA/MCSE/MCSA would be preferred
•Demonstrate organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
•Able to successfully interact with all levels of an organization while building rapport and trust
•Flexible to work extended hours as needed
•Prior experience of having worked in an IT/ITES brand is mandatory
•Excellent Incident & Change Management and clear communication skills are required.
•Experience in using Help desk systems and processes.
•Experience in working with LINUX, IBM x86 & Dell PowerEdge systems is mandatory.
