Job Location: Pune

Job Description:
 The role will focus on aspects of DBA/UNIX management including:
 Backup and restore first line of support and jobs monitoring.
 First line of support to UNIX and DB problems and be able to solve the uncomplicated events.
 Perform maintenance activates under supervisory of the GTO DBA/UNIX team (such as, but not limited to)
 Service pack updates
 Server installation
 Db creation
 OS Maintenance
 Daily activities and system checks (Mainly event log).
 Handle disk space issues
 Report to Datacenter team leader and be technology related to the GTO DBA/UNIX team.

Required Skills/Domain Knowledge

 2+ years as UNIX and DBA person with hands-on experience.
 Must have a thorough understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices for providing service, foundation certificated is a plus
 Proven experience of UNIX server and DB installation, configuration and maintaining upgrades and service packs.
 Experience in medium to large multi location environment
 Ability to work any shift, including evenings, nights, weekends, occasional on-call, holidays and substitutions
 Must have sound business knowledge, innovative thinking skills, and excellent communication skills
 Ability to perform under pressure and changing conditions
 Preferred a “Mamram graduate†or other MOD technology unites
 System UNIX and DBA 1 certification and ability to pass short exam of UNIX and DB.
