Essential Skills: (Must have skills):
• A proven track record of design, development of remedy application.
• 2+ years of development experience in Remedy AR System 6.3 or above.
• 1+ years of experience in Remedy DSO environment.
• Must have experience of integrating applications using Web services.
• Remedy tools experience such as AR Import, Email engine etc.
• Strong log analysis skills
• Very good database skills (Sybase or SQL Server) that will include experience in creating SQL scripts and stored procedures
• Excellent communication skills, Focussed on delivering what needs to be done.

Supplementary Experience: (Useful additional skills)
• Experience of working in Unix environment.

Experience: 3+

Minimum Academics:
• A qualification from an Engineering College, MCA (honours/ 1st class)

Role:
The RBS GBM IS&C Application Development Team develops and maintains a suite of infrastructure applications for GBM. The applications are web based that use .Net as the technology framework. Some of the applications also use BMC Remedy with a backend Sybase database server.

Technology team is spread geographically across London and Gurgaon. The IDC based team works during IST hours only. Weekend support on a rota basis (monthly).

The remedy developer is expected to understand technical requirements by interfacing with team lead and implementing them with efficient and bug free code development. He/She should have very strong technical and analytical skills, must be able to come up with ideas to implement a solution in an effective manner. Additionally must have the knowledge of software development life cycle and will be involved in documentation of implementation and testing documents.
