- To ensure Daily Plant Maintenance is actually performed by the Plant Division Staff and to report if this is not done properly. Take Proper care of the Plant room & computers and eliminate dust at all times
- To record and immediately report the date & time and description of any breakdown, malfunction or improper function of any part of the Plant machinery, Ice Plants & Chillers or Software control system, to the Plant Division.
- To record the date & time when the Problem was attended to and finally solved.
- At the Middle of each day’s program, check the availability of materials in the Bins & amounts ordered & to arrive for the next day’s Program, to ensure you will not be short of materials or cement. This can be checked in conjunction with the Branch materials Receiver.
- To execute the Program exactly as set by the Area Dispatch Executive and controlled by the Branch Dispatch Officer.
- To have good control over Shovel Operators and Plant Helpers, so as to maximize the Productivity of the Plant and
- Minimize down-time, or material shortage in the Bins.
- Keep the Plant area Clean and neat
- Keep the Mixer & chutes Clean
- Ensure sand and dust are removed

1. Check and maintain all the system of vehicles / equipment as per the requirement of Motor Vehicle Periodical Inspection (MVPI) of Traffic Department which are explained by Engineer / Foreman –In- Charge.
2. Perform preventive maintenance of the work place.
3. Check and maintain the vehicle/ equipment as per simplified preventive maintenance schedule, copy of which is displayed on notice board.
4. Perform the job as per given in the job card.
5. Ensure that the vehicle / equipment is neatly washed/ cleaned and required oils and filters have been changed/ containers of filters must be filled with required oil so that engine doesn’t starve for want of oil.
6. Apply and or inject grease at vehicle greasing points.
7. Ensure fluids / lubricants etc are at proper appropriate levels.
8. Assign in changing engine oil; oil pressure of engine should be measured and recorded as follows, at a temperature (preferably) about 75° C to 90 ° C and idle RPM about 600 if oil pressure is less than 0.5 KG/CM2 then inform immediately to the foreman / Engineer.
9. Ensure the maintenance of air suction indicator system is working perfectly well.

o Lead, instruct and supervise your team members by example
o Plan and schedule maintenance as per complaints received from operators or other sources.
o Discuss the work to be carried out with the Supervisor / Manager and allocate the technicians.
o Co-ordinate with stores to avoid time delay in getting spare parts. In case of non availability of spares report to the Managers for further procedure.
o You should highlight on the areas were company is loosing money due to negligence of employee’s, on wastage of spare parts or lubricants, excess purchase or wrong purchases, premature of tires etc…
o To ensure that routine maintenance and preventive maintenance are carried out as per schedule and proper documents (Inspection reports, Job cards, History Cards )
o On all major repairs / breakdown, ensure that your presence and provide advise on the repairs and to be attended on top priority basis.
o You have to analyze and confirm the quality of repairs & maintenance carried out in the Workshop.
